Ryzen 7 1800x Price : $499.0
Core i9 7900x Price  $1,049.99

Conclusion
So Is this double priced Core i9-7900x worth It? well to be honest -no, we expected more performance than Core i9 due to Its price, but the performance was very similar, and still half priced Ryzen was able to complete very purely and was also able to beat It In some occasions, so AMD Ryzen winning the best processor award was totally a deserve win, Intel should have made Core i9-7900x price a bit affordable, because $1000+ Is way too high, and you can get a GTX 1070 with Ryzen 1800x, If you have a $1000 budget. Hands down AMD wins here, Because

  • Price/Performance
  • Performs very similar
  • More Power consumption
  • Performs better than i9 while rendering

I am not fond of 1440p game testing for a cpu, as that has more to do with the graphics card and less to do with the CPU. A more accurate test would have been at 1080p.
