So AMD finally unveiled the mid-range model of AMD Ryzen Threadripper lineup, but wait, there might be 2000 series processors as well, but who knows. The latest processor will have a price point of 550 USD, so that’s 70 USD more than Ryzen 7 1800x. The Processor is mainly designed for content creators, it has more PCI-E lanes, it has more support for Graphics Card. The CPU doesn’t aim to provide good gaming performance, and according to AMD it is mainly meant for Content creators so don’t waste your time buying it for Gaming.

The Ryzen 7 1800x is superior to Threadripper 1900x in Gaming scenario, The 1800x is also a bit cheap with bit less support, still, it is a really good processor. How ever if you are into Gaming, get a Ryzen 1700 and overclock it, that would be more than enough. The processor will support X399 platform.
